About me
I am a curiosity-driven product and experience designer with a background in biomedical engineering. Ever since I was young, I have always asked how things work, and how they can work better. My goal is to apply my combination of creative and analytical skills to design delightful experiences that improve people's lives around the world.
I am a lifelong learner, a self-described nerd, an artist, and an enthusiastic problem-solver. You can often find me sketching with a cup of coffee, listening to one of my favorite podcasts, or training for my next triathlon.

My philosophy and values
Although I’ve navigated lots of change over the years, I continue to be guided by these core values:

-
Stay curious: Curiosity is the foundation of creativity and personal growth. Whether I’m tackling a new design challenge, learning from a colleague, or experimenting with a new tool, I approach every opportunity with openness and a desire to keep growing. It’s this mindset that keeps me energized and ready to innovate.
-
Help people: At its core, design is about serving others. Whether it’s making information more accessible, streamlining complex processes, or crafting intuitive experiences, I aim to create work that meaningfully improves people's lives.
-
Design for a better world: I believe design has the power to influence the world at large. From promoting equity and accessibility to supporting sustainability, I'm committed to ensuring my work contributes to a more thoughtful, inclusive, and better future.
-
Have a bit of fun: Great work doesn’t have to be so serious all the time. I bring energy, humor, and a collaborative spirit to my projects because I believe the best ideas often come from a place of enjoyment and connection.
It's also part of my mission to support important and effective causes outside of what I do for work. Because I'm fortunate to earn a living wage in a wealthy country, I recognize that I can use part of my income to do a significant amount of good.
To that end, I am publicly committed to The 🔸10% Pledge (member #4093), which means I will donate 10% of my lifetime income to effective charities. You can learn more about the pledge at the Giving What We Can website.
